Shallot: French Delvad Bulbs: A first class round variety, with reddish gold skins and deliciously flavoured, pink-tinged flesh. Each bulb yields 8-10 bulbs at harvest. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. (400g of shallots [approximately 15-20 bulbs] will plant a row of about 3m [10]). Grown in Brittany, in the heart of Frances main Shallot growing region, this superb certified variety is of superior quality and will produce an outstanding crop.
