Greengage Mannings Selection: Taken from an ancient Greengage hedge on Ray Mannnings fruit farm at Willingham near Cambridge (home of Greengages), this superb selection will produce good crops of roundish, medium-sized, bright green fruit in August. The fruit are sweet and aromatic - good for cooking but also delicious eaten raw when really ripe. Grown on St Julien A rootstock.
