When should I apply Rootbuild
As an autumn feed apply monthly during May June and July. If you are using Rootbuild to feed the soil before seeding or turfing (best done in spring or autumn) the apply 7 days before the new lawn is laid.
Why do I need an autumn feed
After a summer of cutting, wear and tear, lawns are tired and in need of rejuvenation. Using an autumn feed stimulates root production for a healthy plant and harden the turf for the rigours of winter. That way your lawn will get off to a great start next spring
How is it different from Phostrogen Lawn Food
Autumn lawn food is high is Phosphorus and Potassium to stimulate root growth and harden the turf
Why does it cover such a large area?
The ingredients used in Autumn Lawn Food make it more concentrated for use and so the same weight feeds a larger area than Phostrogen Lawn Food
The feed tends to clog up in Phostrogen fertigation devices
If this occurs it is probably because it has been filled to the Lawn Food level. Because of the concentration of the product it only needs to be filled to the Plant Food line
