Bambusa Nana Bambusa Nana or Hedge Bamboo or Dwarf Bamboo is a hardy, bamboo with many branches making it perfect for hedging. These branches also grow closely together making for a very thick edge once grown fully. Hedge Bamboo can tolerate a degree of cold,  frost and snow, but is reported to de poorly and may even die at temperatures around 10 to 15 degrees F or minus 10 degrees C or so.

It is a fast growing shrub in warm climates like South Africa and if left unchecked can attain heights well over 10 feet. Moist organic rich and well drained soil id preferred and semi shade to full sun conditions are ideal.
