Fruit Cages Protect Your Valuable Garden Fruit and Plants for Years Against Birds & Animals

Fruit cages should be made from strong rot-proof frames of aluminium tubing and sturdy nylon joints. Particular attention should be given to making sure that the fruit cage can withstand the elements. For example if snow is expected then consider using a wider aperture fruit cage netting such as pigeon net to ensure the weight of snow does not collapse the fruit cage roof. Some considerations for fruit cages are as follows:

  1. maximum stability for the fruit cage with uprights at every 6 feet

  2. fine robust fruit cage netting square mesh to cover sides and top

  3. two heights of fruit cage nets for the best protection for short or tall crops

  4. loads of fruit cage sizes to fit lots of different spaces.
