Gardena Moisture Sensor (1187)

When watering outside, if it rains heavily, pre-selected periods of watering can deliver too much water - this can be manually overcome by using the override facility or automatically by linking any of the Gardena computers to a Moisture Sensor. Moisture is sensed by a probe, when soil moisture rises above your chosen level the Sensor stops all watering. When the soil dries out again the Computer resumes its programmed period of watering.  Supplied with a 5m cable for plug-in connection to the computer (a 10m extension cable is available to purchase separately). Gardena Water Distributor (1198)

Gardena's Water Distributor enables up to six separate water outlets to be sequentially supplied from a single mains water supply, allowing easy operation of different outdoor devices (e.g. sprinklers, sprayers etc.) positioned around the garden.  Ideal for use where there is insufficient water pressure to use all equipment simultaneously as only one outlet at a time is supplied with water. Supplied with 3 end caps - in case you don't want to use all 6 of the available outlets.  Operate manually by turning on & off the mains water supply or control automatically using a Gardena water computer (e.g. Dial, Deluxe or Solar Computer).  Each time the water flow is stopped/started the Distributor switches the water supply on to the next outlet. Electronic Leaf Control Box With Leaf

This Electronic Leaf Controller is an up to date version of a tried & tested idea - the 'electronic leaf' which gives accurate control of your plants water requirements.  The control box is operated by mains electricity & transforms the supply to a safe 24 volts. Connected to the control box via a 7 ft (229cm) lead is the moisture sensor (the 'leaf') & the electrical lead from a solenoid valve (not included).  To use position the 'leaf' amongst the plants to sense the amount of water falling on them. When it dries it sends a 'message' to the solenoid valve which opens & allows water to flow to your misting equipment.  After the chosen length of mist burst has elapsed (variable between 3 to 10 seconds) the control box sends another 'message' to close the solenoid & the whole cycle continues to repeat.  The automatic system can be overridden to give continuous spray/mist is required. This Electronic Leaf Only is used in the Electronic Leaf Controller to act as a moisture sensor when connected to the control box. When used with the Electronic Leaf Controller the leaf is positioned amongst your plants to sense the amount of water falling on them. When the leaf dries out it sends a 'message' to the control box which in turn sends a 'message' to the solenoid valve causing it to open & allow water to flow to your misting equipment.
