Cabbage Kilaton by Gardening Direct: Cabbage is one of the most versatile of vegetables, they can be eaten raw and are extremely nutritious containing calcium, Iron and vitamins A, B and C. Kilaton is a savoy cabbage with a nice green external colour even after long storage, it has been bred to have good club root resistance. Despatch Mid MayPlanting and CarePlant in a sunny position in well dug, slightly alkaline soil with plenty of organic matter mixed in. Keep moist during dry spells and add extra nitrogen regularly as well as potash and extra phosphate. Harvest from October
