Water Butt Drip Tube (7mm) - 10M Long | Two Wests
With pre-inserted drippers for easy installation this 7mm Pipe forms the main artery of the Water Butt Drip System developed to run from a water butt to create an automatic plant watering system.
Sturdy 1mm plastic walled UV stabilised, brown coloured 7mm pipe.
Pre-inserted to the inside of the tube are drippers positioned every 30cm (12") along its length, making the system simple to install.
When using the 7mm pipe with the Water Butt Drip System you can run up to a total of 100m, providing this length is divided into separate runs of no more than 30 metres. |Suitable for laying on the surface of the ground or below mulch; however it should not be buried in soil.

Available for use with this tubing are 7mm Straight Connectors, 'T' Connectors & Plugs to allow you to create the required layout.
This type of drip watering system works efficiently due to the water spreading by capillary action.
When the system is in use you will see very little water on the surface of the ground, if you looked below the surface the soil should feel cool & damp.
Depending on the type of soil (the heavier the soil the further the water will spread) you can expect the water to spread approx. 46cm (18") either side of the pipe.
