The nematodes contained within Just Chafer Killer enable you to easily & effectively prevent the extensive damage caused to your lawn by chafer grubs.
Feeding on the roots of grass chafer grubs can cause extensive damage to your lawn. Over a period of time your lawn will appear to have areas of grass suffering from drought, eventually wilting & turning brown.
Damaged turf will lift easily away from the ground due to its' damaged root system. Further damage will be caused by birds searching your lawn for the grubs.
Just Chafer Killer contains the nematode 'Heterorhabditis sp'. Use as instructed, watering the resulting solution onto your lawn.
The nematodes search out the larvae of the grubs, infect the grubs by releasing bacteria which kills the larvae, with more nematodes being released from the infected grubs.
Two packs available:
20sq. mtrs pack - 10 million nematodes to treat approx. 25sq. yrds (20sq. mtrs).
100sq. mtrs pack - 50 million nematodes to treat approx. 125sq. yrds (100sq. mtrs).

Please note : Only suitable for use during August & September when young grubs are active & temperatures are above 12§C.
Please note : to work effectively your lawn needs to be moist (not water logged) prior to application of the solution, with it being kept watered for at least 10-14 days after application.
