A safe & cost effective way of assessing power when in the garden or in an outbuilding this Outdoor (IP54) RCD Protected Single Socket ensures your safety even if an appliance cable is damaged whilst in use by quickly cutting the electricity supply.
Suitable for use outdoors, fixed in outbuildings or on house walls.
Enables safe operation when a plug is inserted & there is NO danger of exposure to water.
RCD or 'Residual Current Device' ensures that if accidental damage is done to the appliance cable plugged into the socket, the RCD is tripped, cutting the electricity supply to the appliance before the electrical current through your body reaches a dangerous level.
Complies with BS 7288, BS 1363, BS EN 60529 & BS EN 60669.
